Sign: Taurus - playful as mom, down-to-earth as dad, stubborn as both.
Conception: Well, her parents are in a long-term, committed relationship, but it was an accident, plain and simple. Nora damn near died of shock and probably seriously considered aborting it rather than fessing up to Owen that he'd somehow managed to knock her up.

Three Random Facts:
1) Though the Sight is probably not hereditary, I feel that, growing up with Nora and Owen, she should know an obscene amount about the supernatural (and guns. of course guns) and should definitely grow up to be an occultist or parapsychologist or something along those lines.
2) Would be a total daddy's girl up until her teenage years, at which point she would rebel against Owen's Owenness and rebel hard - and Nora would secretly be very proud.
3) Nora claimed naming rights, and after turning her nose up at a zillion and one English names, she finally decided she liked Elaine - it means "light".

Circumstances: They both ended up alone at some point in time, and decided that if they were going to pass on their DNA, it had might as well be with each other, since they were never going to get it done with their genders of preference.

Three Random Facts:
1) Maia named her in honor of her Native American heritage, and she got only Dax's last name because "his is cooler, who the hell wants to be a boring old Jones?" She's definitely next generation of "Lu" - because grandpa Gabe shortens everyone's names to one syllable.
2) Considering Maia and Dax's powers, she would be the most badass ever, powers-wise. Ever. So she would naturally be a psion, and we'd finally have ourselves a telekinetic telepath.
3) I think she'd be a lot more like Dax in personality than Maia. I say this because an even more powerful mini-Maia would be absolutely terrifying and I don't think even Maia would know what to do with one.

Conception: Watts and Notch were both volatile and competitive...I can see that eventually coming out as a sexual thing, the occasional tryst now and then to release pent-up steam. And of course, birth control is sort of hard to come by post-apocalypse. Whoops.

Three Random Facts:
1) Thorn got his moniker in a rather unfortunate way - his mother was definitely convinced that a child would just be a thorn in her side (and she had no idea what to do with it). It stuck. But admit it, it could be worse.
2) Seeing as I doubt kids' toys (or babysitters) were particularly readily available, Thorn totally grew up around his mom's power plant and tagging along while she beat up machines. She probably handed him a wrench when he complained of boredom.
3) Watts considered leaving the Mountain Lions more seriously than ever when she found out that she was pregnant. However, there was no way she could take care of herself and a newborn drifting, so she stayed for Thorn's safety and so she could provide for him. Though she always figured she would leave Sundance eventually, she probably never did because of him.

Conception: Sunny didn't want to give birth, and the plan to adopt was so set in stone that Q and Sunny were both thrown by the news that she was pregnant. Though Sunny was none too happy about having her timeline veer away from ~the plan~, Q was pleased as punch, and after the shock wore off, very enthusiastic about having a biological child.

Three Random Facts:
1) Inherited her dad's wanderlust, and spent most of her childhood wishing she was wherever Q had been sent overseas, rather than boring old school in boring old America.
2) Was frequently at odds with her mother - Sunny the authoritarian, and Salome the free spirit, craving independence. She was nearly disowned when she informed her parents that she wanted to travel instead of go to college. Q executed a rare peacemaking mission between the two (after having given up on trying to mediate their fights a long time ago) to create a compromise: a year off to travel, THEN college.
3) ...except she met a man, married him when she was nineteen, and they set off travelling together, this time. When they got done with that, they started having kids; Salome always liked kids. She was great with her cousins.

Conception: I see one of two ways to go, here. 1) Freddy punked out on being Jo's sperm donor and she conned Mickey into it instead, or 2) all those late night study sessions got more interesting, if you know what I'm sayin'. For the purposes of this meme, we'll go with number 2. Mickey is definitely smart enough to meet Jo's procreation criteria. And Jo does not have ~accidents~ of this nature, so they would probably have been married.

Three Random Facts:
1) She will rain hell down on anybody that calls that kid Mickey. It's Michael, or Mike. Her child is not a cartoon mouse. No offense, Mickey.
2) They probably had him relatively late. Jo has a long list of things to do before she had a kid, so I'm guessing mid-thirties or so. Thus, Michael would likely be an only child.
3) Naturally, the kid would be a genius. If he wasn't born one, between the two of them, Jo and Mickey would probably make him one - Baby Einstein, Mozart in the womb, the works - any way they could. And be very disappointed if he wasn't blindingly brilliant. But Jo has faith in breeding for intelligence, such as it is.

Conception: Secrets don't stay secret forever in the Lions' den, and I'm sure it would've come out some way or another that Jack and Az were together. After a few years of dating, they had a makeshift wedding, and Jack ended up pregnant, resulting in much panic and brooding.
PB: Alison Lohman
Three Random Facts:
1) Her name came from the "let's pretend" games that were the major form of entertainment for her and her childhood friends. She had an extremely active imagination, and was ruler of more than one rich make-believe world. Azrael is probably guilty of getting it into mainstream use, as he would've found it vastly hilarious and more than a little appropriate.
2) Ace and Slick would be her godparents. Let that percolate for a bit.
3) Growing up in the world she did, she turned out to be a nurturing little thing, looking after her dad and mom and friends just as much as they looked after her. I think she inherited all of Az's leadership ability, but it was tempered by her mother's influence. Azrael definitely taught her everything he knew, preparing her for rule in his place. In contrast to her father, though, her subjects would follow her out of love rather than fear.

Conception: After bonding over being the people to save Vaughn's ass all the time, Vance managed to talk his way into Nadia's bed. He should put it on his resume. Anyway, Nadia approached the whole thing with a certain amount of suspicion and hesitancy, and abruptly withdrew from Vance when she realized she was having his kid. Turns out shapeshifting comes in handy when you're trying to hide a pregnancy. When Vance pieced everything together, Nadia did allow him some measure of involvement, but it took him some work.

Three Random Facts:
1) Inherited both of her parents' lovely appearance-based powers, and went through a phase in junior high where her hair was streaked a different color every day.
2) She got Nadia's shrewdness and the Abbott sneakiness, and ran her first moneymaking scheme in elementary school.
3) Frequently frustrates Nadia with how much of daddy's little girl she actually is. Sorry, Nadia. You gave birth to an Abbott, even if you didn't name her that.

Conception: Keeping up with the rather incestuous dating habits of the Order, Sarah's little sister caught Asher's eye. They found each other interesting enough to captivate the other's attention for awhile, but the affair was beginning to fizzle and both of their eyes beginning to wander when Grace found out she was pregnant. She immediately skipped town, with Asher none the wiser. He had to hear about his (other) daughter's existence through the Order grapevine.

Three Random Facts:
1) She got her mom's power of teleportation, which is probably for the best, considering the number of people that could fuck with emotions on that island, and how many of them shouldn't have if the world was in any way fair. Still, she was just fine with that, and relished the ability to run away whenever she felt like it.
2) She and her half-sister Izzy hate each other with a passion, despite Izzy's mum and Shannon's aunt being BFFs. They both inherited Asher's penchant for antagonism.
3) She was left mostly to her own devices growing up, which led her into many, many scrapes reminiscent of the escapades of both her parents. Lucky for her, she could teleport out of them.

Both were understandably wary about having a child, but Charlotte got excited about the idea after the initial shock wore off, and seeing her so happy eased some of Vyson's trepidation as well.

Three Random Facts:
1) Raised under the whimsical influence of her mother, Valentine Breha Aredhel (commonly shortened to just Val) was a child who marched to the beat of her own drum. She wore princess dresses to go shopping, fairy wings (to match her mother's), tiaras, face paint, you name it. As such, she was frequently the center of attention, and liked it that way.
2) Was born with the power of telekinesis. Vyson was incredibly relieved that she didn't get his, until she started inadvertently destroying things.
3) Though she was a lot more like her mother when she was younger, she gained some of the Abbott ballsiness as she grew up. In her teens, she started something of a Robin Hood career, using her powers to procure necessities for those who needed them in Broken City, through methods of murky legality.
