This may have been the site I've seen the tutorial on, but I'm not sure. I know for a fact I overlooked it because I didn't think I would ever wanna use the code, but I saw it in someone's journal and I basically fell it love with it.
What I'm wondering: Is there a code somewhere that allows you to add a drop cap at the beginning of your paragraph? I found out how to do it in Word, but I'm afraid it will not copy over when I decide to paste the entry into my journal.

Followr is a Tumblr app that allows you to perform mass updates on your following list. I proposed it to the peeps at Missing e and fyeahroleplayingrabbit, but the creators pitched hissy fits at the suggestion of making it so easy to follow and unfollow a list of people. Well, tough cookies, bitches. I'm releasing it anyway. It's really useful for role players, in particular and is such a time saver.
I'll eventually be adding some more functionality, but for right now, you can grab a list of who you follow, grab a list of who follows you, or update your following list via lists of follows and unfollows.

Are there any resource/help pages on making wiki pages for games?
I could have sworn a while back now I stumbled across a post on here, or maybe an asylum linked to through here where people were sharing images of faces that could be related and thus work for family type lines. Have I gone completely crazy, or does such a thing exist on/through here?
This is going to sound so lame I’m sure, but can anyone show me an example of how this student personnel file is supposed to be filled out? I think it’s a fantastic idea and want to use it, but I’m feeling a tad unsure of how it’s best to fill it out.

Looking for a co-mod
I'm looking to start an AU game based on the Seven Kingdoms, as described in A Song of Ice and Fire / Game of Thrones. I've got a lot of the set-up complete, so feel free to check out what I have on this journal. I'd say it's about 75% ready to go. As this game feels like it'll be rather large, hopefully, if it gets off to a good start, I'd love a co-mod or two to help me out.
The type of co-mod I'd love is someone who's good with the day to day modly stuff - helping with updates and keeping the plot moving along, etc. I'd also love someone who has a real love for the series like I do, or someone who has a lot of ideas to pitch in.

Icon Update - Tania Raymonde
Added 92 new Tania Raymonde icons, bringing the total to 210! A few of them are repeats, I think, but most are new. I wanted to add the episodes of Lost that I hadn't iconned before, because I realized what a great Tribute she'll make. I mean, she's constantly running around looking dirty and scared in the jungle. I'm considering using her for round 2 of Odds. I'm thinking of using her for a different district, but she'd actually make a great D12 girl -- olive skin, dark hair, gray eyes... she certainly has "the Seam look." AND SHE EVEN USES A SLINGSHOT.

I just finished catching up with the Vampire Diaries and...
THERE ARE NO GIFS FOR THESE THINGS THAT I AM FEELING.
No JK, there are gifs. In fact, I'm going to express myself solely in Steven R. McQueen, because there has to be a good reason for having all of these bookmarked.
( There are two reasons for this: to torture Steven's fangirls on my flist, and to see if I can actually do it )
Good news, guys: the aforementioned calls seem to have stopped and I feel better now that I have a knife. So I'm good for now. As Megtoo said, stick 'em with the pointy end!

adventures in phone harassment.
So, when my cell phone rings, I generally don't pick up if it's a number I don't recognize. I like to know who I'm talking to before I pick up the phone! And I figure if it's someone who knows me and has something important to say, they'll leave a voicemail or try again.
Well, about twenty minutes ago, my phone started ringing. My phone said it was a private number, which I thought was weird, so I ignored it. They called again. At this point, I figured it must be someone I know who had something to say. Like, my parents are out of town this weekend so if they died horribly or something who knows what number someone would be calling me from. Anyway, I picked up, and the conversation went something like this...
Me: Hello?
Caller: Hello?
Me: Who is this?
Caller: You know who it is.
Me: No, I don't. Who is this?
Caller: Hello?
Me: I'm sorry, I don't think I know you.
Caller: No, I have someone who needs to talk to you, can you hold on?
Me: *confused* Okay...
Long silence.
Caller: (quite obviously the same person) Hello?
Me: Can you please stop calling me, I don't think I know you.
Caller: I have someone who needs to talk to you, can you hold on?
And then I hung up the phone. Only they called right back. At this point, I knew I was being fucked with in some way, but I don't get it because it clearly wasn't in any way funny, and whoever this guy was also wasn't saying anything sexual. They called AGAIN and I ignored it, thinking they'd get the point. As soon as I did, they called AGAIN and I picked up and shouted "STOP CALLING ME, FUCKER" and hung up, which may have not been the smartest thing to do. They have called me a total of 11 times.
I called my parents FREAKING OUT because WTF this is like When A Stranger Calls shit or something am I going to be murdered while I'm on the porch smoking my cigarette and I'm home alone all weekend oh god I'm so scared and my mom was just like, "Just block the number, what do you want me to do" which was a surprising reaction from her, I thought it would be "LOCK ALL THE DOORS CALL THE COPS OH GOD."
They stopped sometime when I was on the phone with my mom, who ended up telling me to call the cops/someone to stay with if they called again. Which isn't unreasonable advice. But I can't find an app that will completely block private numbers (including voicemails and texts) and I'm freaking the fuck out because I'm in the house all alone and my dog is not exactly a guard dog and I have to go outside to let her out to pee and it would be so easy to smash in a window even if I locked all the doors and I feel like I'm in the beginning of a horror movie but maybe I just watched Scream too many times.
Is it totally wrong for me to be freaking out like this? Is this a thing? Why would someone be doing this to me? I can't see how it would be funny or thrilling or whatever. BUT I AM GENRE SAVVY I KNOW WHAT HAPPENS TO PEOPLE WHO GET MYSTERIOUS PHONE CALLS.
ETA: Wow, Smooth Criminal came up on iTunes shuffle. NO JOKE. My Genre Savvy senses are tingling.

some observations...
I'm waiting for someone to snap and tell Michael to stop joking about horrible things happening.
I never thought I'd have a character so irreverent and/or arrogant as to worry about whether or not their tortured screams sounded manly.
It really depresses me how Michael talks about his mother as if she's still around when she's not. :(
ETA: Michael's totally irrational rage at Titanic might be misdirected anger...

I'm fine with IJ layouts, but when it comes to LJ I'm totally lost. I tried pasting my own layout for IJ into LJ customization box, but the code didn't work. I only use generator, by the way. Can someone give me a code to customize an LJ layout? Or maybe tell me what I'm doing wrong, please
